You can tell your story without concerns you will disclose something harmful to you. Your discussions with an attorney are privileged and state law protects your right to freely discuss just about anything with your attorneys to get legal advice. Clients can refuse to disclose these confidential communications, or to allow their lawyers to disclose them in just about every situation. The attorney-client privilege even extends beyond the death of a client. On of the few exceptions to the privilege are communications by which you seek advice on how to commit a crime or fraud are not privileged. The privilege covers discussions on how to stay within the law.
Longer essays may also contain an introductory page that defines words and phrases of the essay's topic. Most academic institutions require that all substantial facts, quotations, and other porting material in an essay be referenced in a bibliography or works cited page at the end of the text. This scholarly convention helps others (whether teachers or fellow scholars) to understand the basis of facts and quotations the author uses to support the essay's argument and helps readers evaluate to what extent the argument is supported by evidence, and to evaluate the quality of that evidence. The academic essay tests the student's ability to present their thoughts in an organized way and is designed to test their intellectual capabilities.
To be sure, the Florida constitution ( article V, section 2(b) ) confers on the chief justice of the supreme court “the power to assign justices or judges, including consenting retired justices or judges, to temporary duty in any court for which the judge is qualified.” Further, chief justice Labarga , on December 1, issued an order assigning Perry “for statewide judicial service, effective January 1, 2017.” Under that order, Perry can decide cases “as a temporary judge of any court in the State of Florida upon approval by the chief judge of that court.”
