Hello, My name is Katie Mitchell. I have been accepted into LPN-RN Charity School of Nursing in New Orleans Louisiana for spring of my biggest goals have always been to become an RN. It has been a long journey with everything in my life, but I thank GOD I am here finally. I have 3-4 semesters to complete the program. I cannot work full time and attend the RN program full time. I need housing for that time frame, until I graduate. I found a nice cheap apartment for $600 a month. I would greatly appericiate the extra help for housing until You. Sincerely, Katie Mitchell, future RN grade of 2016.
I graduated from college in 1997 with a . in Communications. Now we all know that there are no jobs or jobs that pay little money in that field. From then until now I have had 3 children two who have some for of a disability and I could never hold down a 9-5 just low paying part-time jobs in order to take care of them. During that time I have also defaulted on my four year student loan. Now one would ask why not pay the loan, well with rent, utilities and other bills on a part-time job income how could I unless my children and I would live on the street. I would love to go back to school for nursing but I know that may never happen. I guess I should be angry be my kids come first. I am going to end with this note:
